Flint Blade weaves sonic textures for the ecstatic dance-floor and beyond to create uplifting soundscapes live in the moment, with a special hybrid set combining live DJing and spontaneous live-looping for a unique ecstatic journey of the soul.
Channeling inspiration via electronics, beatbox, vocals and various world instruments, Flint has made a name for himself by mastery of the Chapman Stick — a rare instrument most people have never seen before.
Invented in 1969 California, the Stick combines bass and guitar into a full-range fretboard played exclusively by two-handed tapping; conjuring rich tapestries of sound full of whimsy and wonder.
Based in South Florida, Flint tours nationally, performing on festival stages, ecstatic dance floors and conscious spaces across the country while releasing beautiful bangers on High Vibe Records and his own label, In Love Records.
Drawing influence from diverse musical traditions, Flint is known to swirl it all in: ethereal new age; dub reggae; jazz; downtempo electronica and high energy house music all culminate into a signature “Jambient” sound that brings people out of their heads, into their bodies and onto the dance floor.
