Dance Beltane!
It's that magical time again!
The Spring has Sprung!
And so have we in many ways!
As we Weave Deeper
and with ever-more wide-open Eyes and Hearts,
This precious Community Basket.
The Summer Heat is nigh,
Bodies bared in the Sun.
And we will glisten, and steam
And Make Merry.
The Eros of Creation drinks from our chalice of Cultivated Joy.
The World delights in being Celebrated.
We do our part to turn the wheel in a Beauty Way.
Beltane! Our High Holy Fernhill Holiday will be held with all proper adornment and celebration on May 3rd at Fernhill Park.
Begin to dream of FLOWERS and frocks, and ribbons and picnics, and coming together to witness each other after a long winter to be ASTOUNDED by the depth and beauty we have been growing week by week all winter long.
There will be Ritual, and Song, and DANCING, and a Ceremony of Potent Eros.
Last year, Tyson and became handfasted, and it has exceeded anything we could have dreamed in potency for us personally-- but also seeded SO MUCH love into the community...
This year there will be a dedicated place with witnesses for ANYone in any configuration wishing to consecrate a joining of energies, a comittment to growth, pledge an oath, make a promise, or renew vows... May the power of this Portal be harnessed by all of us to strengthen our Resolve to Grow, together in Love.

The name Hail Mary pays homage to my deep reverence and devotion to the Blessed Mother in her many forms—may Our Lady comfort our vulnerability and infuse every set and every dance floor with her unconditional love.
I aim to create sacred, sensory-rich events that empower and uplift, inviting movement, emotion, and divinity to awaken within.
My mission is to co-create spaces where music, story, and shared intention deepen our connection to life and each other.
In my ceremonial spaces, I offer refuge for unapologetic expression, safety, and soulful transformation through music.

This month’s theme: Telling the Truth in Relationships
We all want the fairy tale version, the deep love, the happily ever after. But, in the real world, relationships are a negotiation between sovereign individuals to foster and create connection that feeds both (or all) of the individuals. Relationships call on us to speak up, and speak truth. But sometimes we don’t! Or can’t. And sure, this could be willful manipulation or gaslighting to serve a selfish agenda. But most often our intentions are good, and we hold back for other reasons: to protect others, to protect ourselves. Maybe we are confused, or don’t know because we haven’t excavated the deeper truth from our unconscious. Join us this month to explore yours and other men’s experiences around truth-telling with intimate partners and friends.
After sharing, we will move into a men's only ecstatic dance container, where we'll have a chance to get primal, get real, get spirit-y, get connected, and get down! As always, in keeping with the ecstatic vibe, it'll be a choose your own adventure scenario, but we will provide some structural pieces to allow for the whole range of masculine energies to show up: from a slower, contact improv-y area with mats (The Muddle Puddle) to a faster, more rough and tumble area (The Mesh Pit).
This is a container for anyone who identifies as a man. Queer and trans friendly.

Bon3_Dust is the alias of Portland’s emerging bass, house, techno, and ecstatic community DJ Dustin Hermann.
Bone3_Dust enters the dance floor with a deep desire to conjur the magical feeling often described as “flow state” – being fully present, deeply immersed, and liberated from time itself.
Through the power of music, community, and flow, difficult emotions can be broken down into the dust from which they came. What could such a journey do for you?

Delady is a Colombian DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who fuses tribal sounds, traditional rhythms from around the world, organic sounds, and live instruments. Inspired by the earth, spirituality, and ancestral wisdom, her music is an invitation to movement, healing, and remembrance.
She has performed in Colombia, Mexico, Ibiza, and recently completed her first North America tour. In 2025, she released a track with the international label Café de Anatolia, solidifying her presence in the global scene.

Fernhill Sleepover
Our Fernhill Ecstatic Dance Community is pretty awesome, right? We get to dance and play together every week, and it just keeps getting better.
And sometimes we need to spend time together in a silly, TALKING POSSIBLE space (lol) to get to know each other in new ways and deepen the magic even more!
Sometimes non-structured time together is where the Revolution is brewed. ;)
Enter... the Fernhill Sleepover!
This is a very special container that offers some of the magical potential of a Fernhill Retreat... but with WAY more accessibility and at a fraction of the price!!
This is a place for us to BE ourselves with each other. A place to share food, dance, cuddle, make blanket forts and have pillow fights, do arts n' crafts, drink hot cocoa... and... maybe a talent show? Karaoke? A movie?
Best yet-- In the morning we will have some time to meditate, do yoga, drink coffee and share a FULL BREAKFAST-- right before we clean up our sleeping bags and get ready for SUNDAY DANCE in the very same space!!
How fun, right?!?! Kinda the dream. :)

Adam Skyy aka Nomaticy hails from Salt Lake City, and brought us a beautiful open-hearted journey last time he played for us! We’re so happy to welcome him back.
Nomaticy is all about releasing stuck emotions, energies, trauma, his sets are meant to provoke you, to give you a chance to feel into what needs to be expressed giving you a chance to release and replace what no longer serves you. Be prepared to journey through an eclectic blend of world, bass, classical wildness and a daring blend of soundscapes.
